Indicating your interest in training gives you first-access to our upcoming trainings with limited capacity. These include, but are not limited to:
Know Your Rights and Spotting ICE - In private and public spaces, for citizens and non-citizens alike, how to identify and report ICE agents
What’s happening, and how can we fight back? - What history tells us about this moment in time, and those in power who are making it happen
Creative and Direct Tactics - Learn how to get creative with the tactics you and your group are using to fight back. History shows us a wide range of options that live in between those we think about most.
Support Roles in the Movement - There’s a place for you in this movement, even if it’s not in the street. From mutual aid to legal support, de-escalation and marshal training to making art, and more.
Leadership Development - We need a movement full of people ready to step up, and help lead. Trainings in things such as facilitation, decision making, and conflict resolution can make this easier to do in democratic and equitable ways.
We collect your borough so we can connect you with trainings in your borough, as our trainings are often designed on a neighborhood-by-neighborhood basis.

virtual business canvassing training
Join a virtual training to get plugged into business canvassing with Hands Off NYC!
Our business canvassing program engages in outreach to local businesses so that they and their employees are prepared for ICE raids, know their rights, are connected to community organizers in the area, and understand how they can protect the elections.
This is sustained by our incredible coalition of over 250 organizations, labor unions, faith leaders, and activists who have canvassed over 10,000 businesses so far.
virtual know your rights trainings
The World Cup is coming to our backyard, and so are the crowds, the cameras, and heightened enforcement. As fans gather across our neighborhoods and at MetLife Stadium, knowing your rights is the first line of defense for our communities.
We'll cover your constitutional rights, how to spot ICE and other federal agents, how to respond to ICE encounters, what to keep on hand, and how to mobilize your community.
