Community is the antidote to fear.
Since January 2025, we have been inundated with stories of tragedy, violence, and corruption. This administration is depending on you feeling exhausted.
Community weekend is an opportunity to find joy and community, bringing new people into our movement and reminding us all that we are not alone.
We will share materials to protect our immigrant communities now from ICE, and start talking about the long game: defending our elections from sabotage, in solidarity with other cities.
Whether you’ve been an activist for decades, or you’ve never hosted an event before, community weekend is a great place to find people who care as much as you do.
